with that comment, but rather the organization as a whole. It actually makes sense that GM would try and steer SAAB customers towards other GM products (from a business perspective)... but I think in many cases, a typical SAAB owner might be more likely to be put off by that website + look elsewhere. It's a little helpful, but also a little tacky/crass. Certainly I have less than zero interest in the other GM products. My point was that GM as a whole clearly doesn't get it (though, yes, it is quite possible that some individuals within GM do)...
I've previously worked in an engineering role at a large organization, so I am aware of the complexities + that great people can exist in an entity that as a whole has its problems that deserve to be mocked... it seems GM is improving, but there's a long way to go + a lot of inertia! I am glad to see SAAB has broken free of this. Also I recognize that the NG9-5, 9-4x and probably several subsequent models will be chock full of GM (and that this is neither all bad, nor particularly good, change will happen incrementally, + GM Saabs are still nice + still have some SAAB dna). I want to see those models succeed financially so that we might have some less-GM more-SAAB vehicles in the future. I'm optimistic!
