The Hummer H1 is built near South Bend, IN and from what I remember there was a plant right next door where they built the H2. I was there pre H-3 (2003?) so don't know where that is built, but would not have been surprise to find that it was built alongside the Chevy's and GMC's.

I got to take a ride on the test track in the H1 assigned to the Navy that didn't have any doors. After one lap I was ready to get out. Slow, bumpy and it felt like I was about to fall out of the truck going around corners. FWIW they told me the civilian H1 models, which were built at this plant, were night and day compared to the military versions.
