When my Memere was 70 she was a terrible driver, at 88 she was horrific. I told my mom that it was time to take her license away. She refused to talk to her about it so I offered her an incentive to sell her car. I told her if she sold her car she could afford to put in wood floors in her new house ( something I knew she wanted). Three days later I sold her car and a week after that I installed her bamboo floors... She talked about selling her car until the night she passed away, but at least we knew she was not endangering herself or others. I miss her very much.
On a side note, Memere absolutly loved my 900 TC, and felt like a queen when I picked her up in it with the top down. Her friends would peer out thier windows and watch us drive away...
