Seems like paranoia about 911. It wasn't that long ago that there was no 911 and I don't recall people dying off in droves when someone actually managed to call the Police or Fire department and then couldn't tell them were they were.

It reminds me of those GM On-Star commercials where the guy gets in a serious accident and is apparently too injured to call for help himself, but apparently not so injured that he can't converse with the On-Star representative.

Yeah, we can imagine up all sorts of hypothetical circumstances, but staying grounded in reality helps us make better decisions.
