Put some oil in the cylinders, and cranked for a couple of seconds with the plugs out. I did this twice. I was really stressing as my brain was not used to hearing the sound of the engine like that. Sounded like a lot of "friction" even though I'm just being paranoid. Sounds cool when there is no compression.
I placed the plugs back in, cranked for 15 or so second, no more. I did this a couple times. It didn't start the first time. The second time it was started but stalled right away. Got me worried, but I assume it has something to do with the excess oil that was there in the cylinders. Third time was a charm. Started right up, with a puff of smoke out the tailpipe, obviously the burnt oil.
Over the storage period, I lost very little coolant and a little power steering fluid. I place some cardboard under the car. I'll keep a close eye, but it seems to always loose a tiny bit over the storage period.
Glad to have it back on the road. Really glad. Maybe I can make it down to SOC, we shall see.
Thanks for the help
Bender
