I've no background re US courts so far (but keep my fingers x'd) nor I've ever been to US at all, so it's hard for me to estimate your chances.
First of all, your GPS unit must have track-logging feature in order to save your travel history details. Secondly, it must be an official feature (e.g. almost every Garmin Nuvi has that feature incorporated, but only few Nuvi's have it officially specified). Thirdly, there must be official specification from GPS vendor saying how precise their GPS equipment is.
I take both my Nuvi's with me when making a trip (in a case one of them will be taken out as evidence), but it's mostly to impress road police officer rather then to use it in a court. Here in this country you can use any means to proof smth, but judge with 100% reject those facts if they're based on smth that isn't officially registered, QnA'ed, certified and approved. None of widely available GPS PNA even tried to pass those procedures (that's not about that they can not pass them, that's about smth else if you know what I mean).
