Great images and great idea. For those who complain it's too long - I don't think anyone is suggesting that this exact ad be created with Saab in its place. You can make a shorter ad, still using a strong idea. It's the idea that counts, as with all advertising.
And so what if Mazda cars do not live up to the zoom-zoom hype. I agree that their cars are underwhelming (disclaimer: I've not driven the RX-8). Again, not the point. The ad is good, and for the vast majority of the public, you paradoxically don't need a good product to go along with the good ad.
However, Saab does have a good product, and a strong history. I think the point of posting this ad in the first place was to state that Saab needs inspiring ads, too, not necessarily THIS ad. Inspiring ads of their own. C'mon, Saab. You can do it.
