Am I hearing this right? $10K for a car with that many miles? You can buy a lot of nice low mileage cars for that money. Even the people in favor of this are saying "oh they go 200K with ease." This one has 232K dude. The problem with a car like this is if you lunch an engine or transmission, finding a used one can be nearly impossible and very expensive. There aren't a lot of Acuras around and they constantly make changes for the sake of change. You don't have ten or twelve years where the engines and trans are interchangeable like with a Saab. You might have one or two years. These cars are good but they aren't that good--you're buying a ticking time bomb that could blow up at any time. High mileage cars are always tempting because they tend to look good. If I were married and had ten kids who were mine it would be one thing, but if I were single I sure as hell wouldn't marry some women with ten kids by someone else because there's just too many better options (like a bullet to the head). If it were $2K you might chance it, but $10K? I mean what's the up side here?
