I drove an Insight back in the spring. It was a very rainy, windy day and I had it on a freeway at 60-75 mph. Trust me, this is NOT a car for anything other than getting groceries in nice weather. It felt cheap, terribly underpowered and flat unsafe. Then I took it too a parking lot and drove it in a circle, faster and faster to see where the handling went south. It was unstable and had miserable grip. How the Insight could so far off from even being a good small car, let alone competing with the Prius, is amazing. And the Honda Fit wasn't a whole lot better.
The CrossTour seems like it'd be OK-- almost like a super-sized Saab 9000. But it's so fat and bloated, and you can't see out of it. And it drives like an Accord, which is nothing to get excited about.
I've never understood what people like so much about Hondas.
