I agree, the cross tour is an ugly car and does not appear to be that functional. Odd, since the new honda minivan, accord, accord coupe, are general perceived as attractive and well designed cars.
The main appeal of honda, i think, is its utililty and value. The hondas ive owned have not been the best at anything, but they are pretty good at most things.....relatively low price, lots of standard features, enough power, good mpg, roomy enough, handling ok. And most importantly, I have never had any significant mechanical/maintenance issues.
The hondas ive owned, pilot and two accords, are not vehicles to get real excited about. But the ownership experience has been so good each time that it is difficult not to strongly consider honda again when it is time for the next family vehicle.
That being said, when my 06 93 eventually goes to the saab graveyard, ill most likely replace it with another saab.
