Probably not the opinion you're looking for. Seriously my son has an MDX. Fit/finish/materials inside and out are better than an Audi, 300 horsepower/hauls a**. Throw in Honda reliability and what's not to like. The Pilot is nice too but the front looks like an International Scout, which is good or bad depending (I owned one back in the day and even I don't like the look). Another car that's often overlooked is the Subaru Tribeca--all the virtues of a Subie plus bigger. In fact the latest Outback has grown to midsize and the 4 cylinder actually gets better mileage than the previous generation. Too bad it's kind of ugly. If you had a couple of months worth of patience you could be the first on your block with a 9-4.
