I have some experience driving right hand drive cars in the UK and elsewhere, and the pedals are in the same place. I can get used to the gear lever under my left hand, but what really messes me up is that some cars (Mitsubishi for one as I recall) have the turn signal lever on the right side of the steering wheel and wiper controls on the left. This gets annoying as every time I intend to signal for a turn I instead trigger the wipers!
