Was looking for a economical front wheel drive replacement for a 70 Tornado. Saw a 99 at a auto show and thought they had good features, 15� wheels, 4 wheel disk brakes, ran on regular gas, and generally well put together. Wasn�t anything like a Tornado, but was quite handy, ran rough roads well, and the brakes were wonderful. Had at least 1 Saab ever since, and nothing but Saabs for nearly 30 years. At one time there were 6 in the family. The 9000 is the best of them all.
