Our youngest son will be relocating to New Haven CT where he has accepted a postion on a Neuro-Biology research project. He will probably be there two years before entering Med School - due to the one year time lag between completion of Pre-Med studies and an additional year due to this job delaying his MCAT test. A fortuitous job position at an ackward time.

We have heard the area around Yale is OK to Good, but other parts of New Haven are similar to Detroit. He is looking at apartments there this afternoon and evening (he left MI at 6:00am driving East) for short-tem sub-letting and will need a more permanent apartment by August. I imagine his sub-let inspections will involve more than just today's appointments.

Any recommendations on areas, complexes, neighboring towns?
