Got another one for the Saabnet brain trust. I'm currently taking care of about 15 acres of lawn. I have a zero radius turn mower like the landscaping companies have, and it's pretty amazing. The problem is the grass has been growing like crazy--6 or 7 inches a week and I have to find a way to collect the clippings. I can get have a collection system retro-fitted to my mower but it's about $3000 for a three bag setup and $4000 for a dump-able hopper. The problem is this is a much wetter summer than normal and if we have a dry summer next year I may not need to collect (the proffessional lawn guys don't collect clippings). The other issue is the leaves--we have a forest of trees and the prospect of raking them is pretty daunting. What I'd like to find is something seperate from the mower that can collect cippings and leaves. I also have a four wheel drive tractor with a PTO that's not being used a lot. I guess I'm visualizing some sort of vacuum trailer or commercial grade sweeper. They make them for residential mowers but those are too small for 15 acres. I've also seen sweepers, but again they're too small. Anyone have any experience with something big enough for my needs?
