Hello, all....I have owned ONLY SAABs since 1988.....I have been having alot of fun with buying new and used SAABs over the last 23 yrs....My last SAAB was my 2009 9-3...I held out as long as I could....
Watched the news about SAAB going under, no wait, SAAB has been saved, nope, sorry...its gone bankrupt...again..

Well, after carefully calculating the BEST time to " unload" my SAAB, I finally did.

On August 30th, I traded in my paid for SAAB for my brand new.....KIA !!

I couldnt believe I did it either..HOWEVER !
My 2009 BASE model SAAB had 39000 miles on it, and they gave me $ 17000 as trade....I bought the thing from a dealer for just $ 19000

Plus, I am driving a brand new 2011 KIA Optima Hybrid, which is LOADED..

I also had my first oil change....cost me $29.49 at the dealership....Better than the $ 110.00 fully synthetic SAAB oil change..

I miss the turbo, and the nimbleness of my SAAB, but, I think I abandoned ship at the perfect time..and The 2011 Optima is quite handsome...especially in black..

Google it for yourself..2011 KIA Optima Hybrid....and I am getting 38 mpg which is combined city and highway....EXCELLENT !

I will always watch a SAAB that I see on the highway, or parked at the mall and admire it, and have VERY VERY fond memories indeed...
