our local saab dealer, when reincarnated post-spyker, sold suzuki/saab... I don't think it was that good a fit, and I'd be surprised if they sold many of either... they shut down the sales location this past summer (probably a smart move considering the recent news)...
Suzukis are pretty questionable reliability-wise...
where should dealers turn? maybe the question should be: where should Saab fans/buyers turn? It's not going to be easy to find a replacement brand for us (fortunately for us, we should be ok for a long time). Probably Volvo or Audi for us if Saab is not suitably reincarnated...
In addition to watching where the market moves, dealers are restricted by dealership availability... I suspect many independent ones will just fold (or downsize to service/used etc)... That happened in Canada when GM shut things down for Saab (and other GM dealers also) 2 years back...
