Since Saab has (had) a thin dealer network, almost any brand you can name is already represented in any market where there is a Saab dealer. Each dealer will have to evaluate his or her local options.
Maybe there is a brand that wants to expand it's network and that would help, but there would still be a lot of duplication.
Re: Fiat, "Fix It Again, Tony" was an appropriate saying when Fiat was in the US before. Since Chrysler closed a lot of dealerships (under a false premise IMHO)how could they justify picking up a couple hundred more now?
Peugeot is the only suggestion I saw that might work, but they would have had to be prepping for the US market before this to get in before the Saab dealers go under or find another brand. Doesn't sound likely to me.
