Again, I don't understand... Posted by Snowmobile [Email] (#686) [Profile/Gallery] (more from Snowmobile) on Thu, 22 Mar 2012 11:19:22 In Reply to: Whatever...the car is still a POS, Noel, Thu, 22 Mar 2012 10:33:59 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
... why people buy these cars instead of better lightly used cars...
we own 3 saabs. The 2 c900's were bought ages ago, but I could easily buy similar (or nicer) c900's today for $2k each. The 2004 9-5 cost $6k. So 3 saabs, all of which are excellent, safe, cars, cost less than the cheapest bottom feeding Versa (which here runs $12k).
I suppose the running costs of a new Versa are pretty good: under warranty, decent fuel economy, etc... and maybe one wants a smaller car... but can you imagine driving a 2004 9-5 and a 2012 Versa back to back + buying the Versa for double the price?
clearly I am not their market...
James...
