TCS/ESP module problem? Posted by JohnA [Email] (#426) [Profile/Gallery] (more from JohnA) on Wed, 23 May 2012 17:16:33 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
Dash warning! continued to indicate traction control was down on the '07 9-3.
So I finally got around to taking it in for analysis.
Fmr Saab dealership concluded that by unplugging the TCS/ESP module, they'd
somehow fixed the problem as they could not, on road testing, get the traction control warning light to come up again.
Sure enough, I paid and was no sooner on the street than the light came up again.
GM had been contacted and opened a had opened a warranty file.
Fmr Saab dealership speculated that I might need a new TCS/ESP module.
Further advices are not too optimistic that I can get GM to help or
even if they do, that I get the car fixed without driving from Calgary to Edmonton as there is no service outlet for GM warranty claims repair in
Calgary.
Will let you know how this all turns out but if anybody has any ideas,
I'm listening!
