Not the case in Connecticut. I'm pretty sure our T1 lines at work are through Comcast Business and I suppose they've been decent.
I have not spoken with one single residential Comcast customer out here who is happy with their service though. The signals are flaky, the equipment sucks, and they jack up prices without notice. They just phased out analog and we're forced to use crappy converter boxes on any non-digital TV's. My father got so frustrated that he just went out and bought all new flat-screen TV's to avoid having to deal with them. He would love to get rid of Comcast but the only alternative at the time is satellite, and they live in a wooded neighborhood. He always says he can't wait for U-Verse to come to the neighborhood so he can tell Comcast to "go pound sand."
I have Charter at my house and they seem to be a couple steps up from Comcast, but I would still love to switch to something like U-Verse if it ever gets out to the boonies where I live.
