i don't care what anyone thinks or trys nothing will change Posted by vvack0matic [Email] (#1443) [Profile/Gallery] (more from vvack0matic) on Sat, 23 Jun 2012 21:14:20 In Reply to: the internal combustion engine not becoming a dodobird, JohnA [Profile/Gallery] , Sat, 23 Jun 2012 07:47:39 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
becouse its all starts will the trucks,.. the trucks of the world supply our cities with goods, may it be food from farms or gasoline from refineries,.. those trucks use diesel to run ,.. lets take 1 truck, doesn't matter what its hauling, it will take this one truck 200 gallons of diesel to run 1200 miles, so say the truck picks up a load in NY. and runs it down to fl. the truck is now empty and needs to refill 200gallons of diesel fuel this is just one truck that ran for 2 days, there are 200,000 trucks or more running daily using 200 gallons of fuel every other day and what break through has there been in the trucking industry for fuel saving,..... zero nothing.. it doesn't matter if Joe bob buys a hybrid or if jobob and his neighbor buys a hybird its the trucks that are the life blood of use all,.. what do i mean u ask,... if i go to wall mart and the truck delivering me my Angus stake hasn't come .. i don't get to eat my steak for the4 night (( and I WANT MY STEAK )) I don't care what it costs for me to eat steak ,.. or drink beer I WANT IT NOW if the trucks stop bringing me my stuff I might as well push up daisies.
no improvement has been made with internal combustion engines in the trucks that bring me stuff, perhaps better emissions but thats it. they still run at 5 gallons a mile and we all need them... want to show me something? show me a better running hybird truck, Joe bobs hybird car i could care less about. we are far from dodobirding the internal combusttion engine.
