No I had a lawn mower with mulching blades but a log or a good size branch fell from a tree and I ran the lawn mower over it a few times to mulch the branch into wood chips, was working quite well the lawn mower was chewing that log right up until there was a loud bang and the lawnmower died.
I thought thats odd and went to try to start it and a huge cloud came bellowing out of the muffler,. blew the piston rod in it' Guess I wont be doing that again.
Was cutting the grass weekly before but it is an inconvenient for me dont get me wrong' love cutting the grass but other things take priority. so now I`m looking into every other week options.
Ill have to buy a composter thanks for the idea. Looked at cheap one online and its only 60 bucks thats what Ill get set it out back and just dump it all in there might over flow a bit but oh well
As far as fertilizing the lawn goes it was never done. no sprinkler system, no other lawn maintenance other than cutting it. I watch it turn brown in a drought and if just a little bit of water hits it look out.
