won't have to worry about mounting... Posted by Johnson [Email] (#3237) [Profile/Gallery] (more from Johnson) on Thu, 26 Jul 2012 19:11:36 In Reply to: Re: Tire and wheel deals?, westernny, Thu, 26 Jul 2012 07:28:18 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
If you buy the rim and tire at Tire rack at the same time, they come mounted and balanced. since I have to buy two rims anyways, I was gonna spring for whole a new set at tire rack. The rims were 94 bucks each, plus 105 for the tires. I know the tire discussion has been beat to death, but I think these are the better tires for what I need, Mostly summer driving, with some snow in the winter. I plan on using our family's cabin this winter so will need some Light snow duty. If the tires work well on the alero, I was gonna get them for my 9-5 when it will need them, probably at the end of the year. Unless somebody has a suggestion for a similar/better performing tire suggestion for less money? I needs to be at least somewhat decent in the snow. The highway is paved, but the dirt roads into the cabin are just lightly plowed.
