Thanks to my Saab friends who donated to the Pan Mass Challenge. So far the Saab Community has pitched in about $850 (of my $5,300 total) to fund cancer research being done at the Dana Farber.

The 200 mile charity bike ride is this weekend and I still need to raise about $1,000 more to be guaranateed a spot in next years event. A donation of as little as $10 gets you a chance at the $100 gift card donated by "State of Nine". A number of my sponsors have said "Don't bother to enter me in the drawing. Just glad to contribute." So your odds od winning the prize are still reasonable - not that that is the point of contributing to this fantastic event. My wife will be driving my Dame Edna 9-5 combi as an official support vehicle for any cyclist who needs help during the weekend. BMW is the official vehicle of the Pan Mass Challenge. Let's see how long it takes the organizers to ask her to remove the big Saab Griffin flag that will be flying off the bike roof rack!
