I had an old battery pack re-built for my AEG drill/driver, made back when AEG built very good tools. The cost of the rebuild was half the cost of a new NiMH pack on-line.

My B-I-L dodn't have the same luck with the store near him but he never complained to give them the opportunity to correct the problem either.
