I have my audible account, and get at least 2 new books a month. the wife and I do not watch tv. and so we get our entertainment in the form of audio books, plus I already drive 30-40 minutes, this will just be another 20 mins or so tacked onto an already long commute.

But the problem with driving every day such long distances is that it is truly a chore now. Where driving used to be a joy of mine, it has become a doldrum.

I appreciate not putting the miles on the saab because it is more expensive to repair, and I really want it to last a long time. If something on my alero breaks, I just throw it away and get a new one. It couldn't be more of an appliance.

I'm too cheap to pay for satellite, but I think for Christmas I will be getting a new radio in my alero that can play MP3's, Right now I have the stock radio with a single cd player, and 2 of the speakers are blown. so it is hard to always understand what people are saying. they were not when i bought the car, but have not lasted.
