For normal driving having different brands on each end of the car is mostly OK. However, when traction conditions change, like rain or light snow, one end may stick better than the other. Then there's just a normal emergency maneuver on a dry road--something falls out of the pick-up truck in front of you on the freeway-- where you suddenly go up near the limits of the tires. A difference in traction at one end can make it get a little exciting when you don't want it to be.
I know the Bridgestones you're getting have a very linear, predictable breakaway (I have about 35K on the 960AS), but I don't know about the Michelins. On premium tires like those there probably isn't a hug difference, but you do need to be aware that there will be one at the limit. It may or may not matter in practice.
