I agree with you but there sure are lots of ads out there touting a classic car as having ONLY XX,XXX MILES. Usually under 50K if they are making a deal about it. Naturally, the engine has not been inspected or repaired because the odometer is 'so low'.
This car had the cylinders rehoned and 0.020 oversized pistons & rings installed. The crank was reground to 0.010 under and appropriately sized main bearings installed.
Since the odometer says 11,000 miles I don't know if that amount of engine wear signifies 111,000 miles or 211,000 miles. With 50+ year old engine metallurgy the odometer may have only rolled over once. Either way, the engine has been rebuilt to eliminate the previous wear.
