Very interesting! Question though. I recently had a dealer check to see if my 02 9-5 needed a transmission software update. They said it did, so they downloaded it and updated the car's software with the tech2. Would I have been able to do this same download if I had the unit you just bought? I guess the question is, where do these types of updates reside and who can access them, is it a part of the TIS software? Thanks- JerryC
