I`m a home owner with a septic tank, have had the house for 2 years now and I looked up how septic tanks work being I had no clue. After reading into it I find pumping out my tank may be a very good idea. My tank is in the front of the house with the drain field under my front yard. Question is, I been looking up business who do the job and I`m wondering dose the business have to drive their big truck over the yard to the tank to clean it. I`m worried because that would completely crush my drain field leaving me no end of problems. What makes me ask this is I visited a business's web site and they have pictures of their work on their home page. The pictures is kind of a photo album flipping from pic. to pic. & in every photo they show this huge truck on top of grass in one photo they show this huge truck right up next to a ladies house presumably at her tank clearly showing the truck sitting on top of what would be the drain field, is this normal in a tank cleaning? Would every company drive that truck right up to the tank?
I linked the website so you can have a look at the photos they show. They advertise drain field repairs,. is this their way to keep your business as in drive over top of the drain field to destroy it only to return later so they can fix it, or am i stressing over nothing. After seeing these photos I`m very worried on calling any-one being my drain field will be crushed,. it would cost me in upwards of 3000$ to repair it.
When looking at the photo on the site take note they do not show one photo where that huge truck is on pavement.
