I would not use that floor jack anymore. Also, never use a floor jack without putting the car on jack stands if you intend to work under it. I've been using a small 2.5 ton(?) Craftsman floor jack that I got for $30 on sale. I once left my car on floor jack for an extended period of time, with a jack stand on the front control arm mounting point for safety. After an hour or so like this, I went to lower my car and found that the jack stand wouldn't budge because my car was now resting on the jack stand. The floor jack wasn't leaking, still works fine to this day, and I'm still using it.
