Unfortunately typical as in many other products here.

I grind my beans right before making coffee in several different styles. How can ground coffee that has been sitting in a small plastic container for an indeterminate time compare for freshness? We had commercial Kuerig machines at an office I worked at 15 years ago (very "cutting edge"!), a huge disappointment no matter which "flavor" I chose.
