I had a similar accident with my red 9-2x - sandwiched between two cars when I was hit from behind and rammed into the car in front. The car was close to being totaled but the insurance ended up paying over $6000 for repairs. I thought the car would never be the same and was tempted to just get rid of it. However, the repairs were great - yes the red paint did not EXACTLY match but was so close that no one has ever pointed that out. The alignment of the body ended up perfect and except for one annoying buzz in second gear that seems to be a resonant frequency for some loosely bolted up part that I can't find, it is as good as new. I'm glad I kept it.
