It's got an AAN engine (from UrS6) with standalone engine management running about 20 PSI of boost.
And yeah, the rust resistance is amazing! This 1990 car has less rust than my '97 9000 (being a California car doesn't hurt). And double the mileage too, although that doesn't mean much since none of the original drivetrain components are on the car.
Keeping with the topic, one thing this car does *not* have is ground clearance. It's lowered - not much, only 3/4" - but didn't have much to begin with.
