Comcast does it fine... Posted by Scott Paterson [Email] (#13) [Profile/Gallery] (more from Scott Paterson) on Sat, 25 Jan 2014 15:01:55 In Reply to: But be aware..., ELaw [Profile/Gallery] , Sat, 25 Jan 2014 11:01:02 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
We have an older HDTV with component inputs and the cable box that Comcast Xfinity gave us handled everything just fine. We just cancelled our service though now that we have an AppleTV. I use a converter box that handles encrypted HD... Every once in awhile I have to replug in the HDMI cable on the Apple TV but only when I'm watching highlights on the NHL channel that comes with the Apple TV. We're also using an indoor antenna to get our over the air HD channels with a separate converter box that is also a DVR.
