There is an annual event I attend in Boulder Colorado at the Shelby American Museum - the once a year fund raiser for operating the museum. It is right before the Colorado Grand event where there are over 100 different cars, and in 2012 was the year of the Cobra. Bruce Meyer brought his car, one of them more famous Cobras during the 1000km event. There were 10 listed on the roster, and I think a few came in after registration was over.
There is also a club of Cobra drivers that come to Colorado at the same time as the event at the Shelby American Museum, and they can be seen traveling in the mountains for about a week -- routes vary but several years running they have been in Southwest Colorado blasting up and over the passes. These are the real deal.
For the most part, I see them more often at the SVRA events throughout the USA. Dan Gurney's Cobra ran in Indianapolis in early June at the SVRA. I think one fellow came in from Monte Carlo with his. He was at the finals in Austin with the Essex Wire Cobra. They don't parade these cars, they race them. But, I can say not with the same reckless abandon they had in the mid sixties :-)
