Just can't seem to catch a break

Moved to the Atlanta area 17 years ago next month, to take a job with what would eventually become WebMD. Eight years and five mergers later I was mergered right out of a job.
Next came a company called YearOne- six years there until their sales plummeted and they went from a staff of 200 to 25. No longer needing I.T. staff meant I was on the job hunt again.
2 years ago I landed a job at a 'cloud based' international marketing company- as a Windows and Mac Systems admin. LOVED it. Great company culture working with people I genuinely like. In May we were acquired by IBM and despite being told "we bought you because you've been massively successful at what we've failed at so don't change the way you do anything", they changed everything.
Yesterday I learned another change coming was the elimination of the Systems Admin and MIS departments as they outsource this now. My department / job will be gone in 8 months to a year once they feel we've been "fully integrated" (assimilated?).
You put everything you have into doing a great job- work 60hr weeks even though you're on salary- check in when you're on vacation and solve problems remotely because "it's the right thing to do"- and once again it all means nothing but another kick in the teeth.
Just totally defeated.
