As stated by many the e class should probably be first to go before it gets pricey. I would drop the x3 next unless it has incredible maintenance. I highly recommend as do the dealership techs to make sure the oil is changed just like the Saab every 5k. These cars are having lots of vanos, camshaft, head issues due to factory recommended service light every 15k miles or so. Also it has the electric water pump that stops communicating with the ecm and needs replaced for about a $1000 and a transfer case that was said to be lifetime fluid but the .6 liters just can't keep up and needs changed every so often. The transfer cases are hard to find used and go for about $2500 as a factory reman unit. So I would also say those oil change intervals should be done on the 328i as well.
