I would love to make at least one of these this year. Unfortunately the timing of the SOC might preclude my participation as we will be initiating a major maintainace project only two weeks later for 35 days and there is a tremendous amount of stuff to get accomplished in advance of all the maintenence work .

So Carlisle is the more likely candidate. What is housing at Carlisle? Do most owners tent it at the show, or do they camp off-site? I recall others saying only wusses rent a hotel room but if my wife accompanies me it will definitely be a motel/hotel.

Same with food. Food trucks on-site, or cold sandwiches from the cooler, or firing up the camp stove?
