Perhaps one of the fondest memories I have of owning an A4 and an A6 was almost never dealing with the exhaust system on either car, even in Chicago's climate. One aluminized stamped steel exhaust clamp rusted out on the A4 in 135,000 miles. Shame that the rest of the mechanicals on the cars were not made with the same level of preventative care.
