Establish a new email account that, by name, identifies itself with the job you are leaving. Dump all contact information from your smart phone to the new email accunt. This is handy for all official and unofficial future communication with past colleagues and employer. When I left GM after 30+ years I established a gmail account just for this purpose since gmail apeared to be most receptive to accepting dumps of contact info. My account is name.gm*gmail.com to keep it separate from my personal, and professional accounts
Your current employer may wipe your phone and laptop immediately upon receipt of your resignation letter so get all personal data off both devices and maintain electronic and paper copies of everything that is important.
Scan like crazy! Use your employer's scanners to scan all personal employment documents and any work information that will likely either be of use in your next position or could protect you personally in a future legal action. This step may be at least partially in the gray zone between legal and illegal so use discretion and don't scan anything that is clearly in the illegal zone.
