I'm not aware of any modern fix-a-flat stuff that will damage a tire, and it is far from certain it will damage the TPMS. All the fix-a-flat stuff in production today that I'm aware, whether green "Tire Slime" stuff or the sealant included with the various mobility kits in modern cars - is water soluable. All you do is hose down the tire and TPMS sensor with water and the stuff will fall off, then you patch as normal. Admittedly I've only had one experience, but on a friend's 135i we used the car's Conti-brand inflator & sealant and the next morning he took to the car to Big O where they washed it all off patched & plugged the tire, and sent him home. No problems. The scenario where this stuff would become irrevocably lodged in a TPMS sensor is pretty narrow - those things are solid state, there isn't much to plug or clog.
