Figure I have nothing to lose by asking.
2011 GMC Terrain, V6 AWD, 101K.
We have 5K left on the extended warranty.
Every few months we get a brief flashing CEL (10 sec then stops), followed by a solid Traction Control Light, and "Service Stabilltrak" warning on the dash info display.
In most cases, we are nowhere near a dealer to get them to plug in a scan tool right away, although we got lucky 10 days ago, and it happened while my wife was near the dealer, could drive in and they could read the codes before shutting car off.
The codes they got then were P0303, and U0100/U0101. They replaced the coil for Cylinder #3 under the extended warranty, and things seemed great.
Over the weekend, we were out of town, and after accelerating up a hill (entrance ramp at bottom, accelerate into traffic climbing the hill), I got the lights again. No where near a dealer, but when I got home I pulled U0100 and U0101 as well as P0300 (random misfire).
Next day (Sunday), started the car, everything was copacetic, until I accelerated hard getting on a highway, and got the flashing CEL for a few seconds, and when I read the codes it was P0303 and the two U codes again.
These U codes have been elusive for years, and happen so infrequently, they can't be easily traced. Does anyone have experience with these, and have any ideas of where I should be looking (or making sure the dealer) looks?
Any ideas if there are TSBs about this?
Sorry for the long post, but figured it couldn't hurt to ask!
Thanks
