The cheapest and least invasive solution is probably to use a hard wired FM modulator. It goes inline with your antenna so you won't get interference from local station. I had the same problem you're having with my old add-on XM satellite radio and this worked great. You'll have an aux-in instead of it being wireless. If you were really feeling ambitious you could add a Bluetooth adapter onto the wired modulator for Bluetooth connectivity.
