I bought a hi def camera off Amazon (flush mount model was about $20): the Boss unit did not come with a camera. The camera came with a 12-15 foot combined video/power cable. See link below.
Then, I drilled a whole into my license plate for it to fit. To adjust the angle, I flipped the galvanized steel license plate mount upside down. Had to do a little bit of trimming to the bottom of the plate (about 1/8 inch) and elongate the holes in the mount. If I'd thought about it a bit more, I could have avoided trimming the plate and done just the holes (hindsight is 20/20).
Yeah the back thing sucks. I have 11 fused vertebrae, 22 50mm screws, and assorted rods and cross members. Congenital - family history sucks.
