Or as their Cruising Car for round-town drives with friends. I am sure they will be enthused to assist in the selection process.
My Millennial age sons both discovered driving a manual transmission car is far harder than they thought, so their designs on borrowing the Viggen died on the vine.
I learned to drive a stick back in High School when three friends and I 'borrowed' a Datsun pick-up when its owner was out of town for a week, and we spent the day all crammed into the cab driving around local lakes and cottages looking for girls. This experience was followed by my purchase of a 1979 TransAm with the T/A 6.6 engine and 4-speed manual, and again with the purchase of a 1984 S-10 Pick-up with a 4-speed. Between selling this truck in 1993 and buying the Viggen in 2013, I had not driven a Manual. Just like riding a bicycle............
