It is 2017 Rav4 - we got it used. 2019 RAV4 hybrid fuel economy should be about 15% better (40 mpg according to EPA) - mostly because Toyota has finally switched to direct injection.
HSh was an odd hybrid as fuel economy was not so good. Not many of the around. CTh on the other hand was almost as efficient as a Prius.
I would say brakes feel the same most of the time. I was surprised how smooth the transition from regen to regular brakes (i.e. not noticeable at all). Same goes for engine stopping and starting.
