I need to use the Verizon network. The other carriers' service is not reliable where I live. Comcast/Xfinity uses the Verizon network. I had AT&T several years ago and it was big problems with missed calls although my phone was displaying several bars of service. T Mobile is even worse here often no service.
The $40/line upgrade fee is what is going to end my relationship with Verizon Wireless. I spent a while with Verizon Wireless on the phone yesterday and just got a lot of BS. They did reduce to $40 fee to $20.
Comcast/Xfinity is othering $50/line to change and my bill will be reduced by at least $40/month. I understand that the data service is automatically switched to Xfinity hotspots if one is within range and I am not sure how well that works. At this point that is my major concern. I have been very happy with Comcast for my home phone, internet and TV for many years.
Thanks again
