I just started to work on specialty tools to build flaperon bearing pivot housings for the new T-7, a Boeing / Saab AB partnership trainer to replace the T-38. I was kind of shocked to see the pivot pin diameters were bigger than say L1011 ailerons. Odd diameter, a size not usual even in landing gear strut assemblies in terms of size. They must be planning to do some yankin' and bankin' in this puppy.
